And last but not least....

Poor Rachel!  I know I don't blog about her enough...another case of bad Mommy guilt.  She is such a sweet girl.  Just goes with the flow of her sisters' busy lives!  She is growing up way too fast!  Three next month!  I am actually looking forward to next year when both of her sisters will be in school everyday next year.  Time is going way to fast!

Not to be outdone but her sisters, she has demanded that she does gymnastics too!  I wasn't sure how it would go!  She loves it!  Marches right onto the floor waiting for her teacher.  The youngest in her class by far, but she "gets" it for the most part!

More and better pictures to come!  I just had my Ipad with me this day!

Dessert with Dad

Yesterday Mike and Molly had some one on one time together!  I got my special time with Molly in the fall with the Mother's Tea and now it was Mike's turn.  He got to go and listen to Molly and her class sing special songs about their fathers and then have dessert!  So cute!  Molly loves having her Daddy at school and Mike said he loved to see her face lighten up when she saw him there!

Molly happenings...

I feel like I have been posting a lot about Ava lately.  And mommy guilt comes into play as always....the middle child always get left out and her behavior has been showing it!

Not the best picture but this girl's reading has taken off!  She loves it and is more than ready for Kindergarten!!

Negative attention is still attention right?  Here is a picture of some fun with markers that occurred on a furlough day!  Glad I can laugh about it now.. because that wasn't the case at first.  No punishment needed!  Embarrassment at gymnastics was the better than any punishment I could dish out for sure!

First Grade Going Ons

Ava had a busy week in first grade.  First off, she was student of the week.  She got to bring in a special treat, and got to do special jobs and was the line leader ALL week!  That's a big deal for a first grader!  First to eat, first on the playground...wow!

Then the students had their first major report due.  I guess everyone in the school had to pick an influential person to do a report on, and make a project.  Kind of intense work for a first grader.  It was a great experience for her but I feel sorry for the kids whose parents aren't involved.  And thank God for the internet!  I would have loved to have had the opportunity to use it for research growing up!
So, we choose Florence Nightengale.  Ava had no idea what an influential person but knew she wanted to do a woman.  So, to the internet we went and of course googled influential people.  I had fun learning about all the great work she did.  Ava, just wanted to get to the art part and the presentation part of the project!  Our hard work paid off.  It was really cute and once again, Ava was great standing in front of her classmates.

Easter Weekend

What a wonderful Easter weekend!  So glad that the weather cooperated!  One of the nicest Easters in my memory.

Friday night we colored eggs.  I say this every year I think but the girls are getting so independent and creative!  They can do everything on their own.  So much fun to sit back and watch!

Saturday morning, we went to a Easter Party and Egg Hunt.  Last year was the first time the Upton's invited us and I am sure that it's going to quickly become a tradition!  They hid over 200 eggs!  Rachel had all her candy eaten within 10 minutes and complained of a stomach ache the entire day!!

On Sunday morning, the girls woke us up at 6:30 wondering if the Easter Bunny had come.  Of course he did and they girls were giddy!  So much fun to watch them find their hidden baskets!

Spring Break 2012

We had a great spring break last week.  Although we didn't go anywhere, we stayed busy everyday!  The weather was AWESOME so we did a lot of things outside!  I really enjoyed having all my girls together for the week! The girls are at really fun ages!  They enjoyed learning about the animals not just looking at them!  Glad we go there early!  It started to get crazy busy by noon!

I let each girl take a picture of her favorite animal and they begged me to post them on the blog!

Tuesday we went to see the Lorax.  What a cute movie.  I think I enjoyed it as much as the kids did.

Later in the afternoon, Ava had a playdate with her friend Emma.

On Wednesday, we had another outside day and went to the Littleton Historical Museum.  I hadn't been there since Ava was little.  Fun learning on the people lived in the olden days.  The girls really learned a lot.  The highlight was the baby sheep born just a few days before.  So cute!!

Thursday, we laid "low" and stayed home ALL DAY!  Molly and Ava both had a playdate in the morning/early afternoon.  I learned that with my girls three is a crowd so it's just easier for both of them to have someone over.  They played wonderfully and I got some stuff done around the house!  Yeah for me!

Friday, another beautiful day, we played outside ALL day long!  Went for a bike ride, rode scooters and trikes.  And did some yard work.  The best part, was that Mike and I got a date night and we went to see The Hunger Games!  A great end to a great week!!
