On Saturday, Ava began her soccer season. Let's just say that our first experience with team sports didn't go so well. We thought we had Ava prepared. Mike has been talking about soccer and explaining the rules for months. She understood exactly what she had to do. The only problem was that we didn't prepare her for the other kids. Every time she went to kick the ball and another player would cut in front of her to kick the ball she would cry. In other words, she was in tears the entire 30 minutes of the game. Mike and I couldn't help but laugh. Talking to her about the game afterward, she said that she had so much fun and can't wait for the next game. I think that the treat at the end of the game helped make everything better!! So, hopefully next game will be better because she seemed miserable to me!!
