Siesta Key Florida 2009

Okay.. I am a week late with this post but a lot has been going on. I am homebound today with a sick child so, while I am sitting on the couch watching cartoons, I thought I would post an update.
I had my stent replaced on Wednesday. The recovery is much quicker than the last time. Except for the flu bug I must have gotten in the hospital and passed it on to Molly. My body must be getting used to a foreign object in my kidney.

4 weeks until baby Cummings arrives! I can't wait to meet her. And can't wait to have the stent removed permanently. Still haven't decided on a name for our big beautiful girl. As of last Tuesday, she weighs 6 pounds. She is still measuring 2 weeks early, and she is in the 95% for head size. I imagine that I will be induced. I had an ultrasound and it determined that I had extra amniotic fluid. The doctor is not sure what that means. And is not highly concerned. So, I am scheduled for an ultrasound this coming week and next week. Most importantly, she is breech. I am not highly concerned since all my girls have flipped at the last moment!!

So, enough about me. Let me tell you about Florida. We had a wonderful two weeks in paradise on Siesta Key. The weather was gorgeous. We spent our days at the beach or the pool. Mom preferred the pool. The girls stayed cleaner that way. They loved the sand. Too much. After doing headstands and somersaults, they were covered in it. Sand was everywhere and they needed an immediate bath. Thank god for Aunt Ann and Emily. They were able to watch the girls while my Mom and I had a little visit to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Lucky me, I had a kidney stone on the right side-the side without the stent. After getting the best pain meds but horrible care, I passed the stone. Thank goodness. We got to spend the day with Maxx cousin Emily's horse. The girls loved to ride him and would not get off when it was time to go!! Meeting all the princesses at Disney World was the highlight of the trip! It was a very memorable trip! Thanks for everything Mom!! Here is a slide show of the highlights of our wonderful trip!!!
