Happy Birthday Sweet Rach
My sweet baby girl turns 1 today!! What a year it has been. So much fun watching this angel grow and change. I guess the rough entrance into the world made this girl one tough cookie. A long labor, a fractured skull, and some time spent in the NICU shaped her personality. What a great addition to our family. We can't imagine life without her. WE LOVE YOU RACHEL ANN!!

End of the School Year Happenings
Have I mentioned how much I love the girls' school? What an amazing place with an amazing staff! I will really miss the teachers next year.
Molly will be going back but with a different teacher next year. To end the year, we got to have lunch with her in the classroom and then an ice cream social. We will really miss Ms. Mary.
Ava had a graduation ceremony and then breakfast. We will miss Ms. Mason. Ava made some wonderful lifelong friends. And I did too!!

The Innocence of Youth
It never ceases to amaze me what amazing little creatures children are. I just need to take the time to enjoy it more before my kids are grown. I am realizing this more and more as Rachel grows. Everything is new to her. She loves nature and animals. Loves exploring. I know that I say this a lot but she is really growing up fast.

Florida 2010
Ah... we are back. Back from paradise. Not liking the fact that I have so much laundry to do. We had a WONDERFUL trip. The girls had a marvelous time. I wish I could say it was a relaxing trip.. but not so much. Traveling and vacationing with children is no vacation. But, it's still nice to get away. We spent everyday at the beach and pool. Ava is now a swimmer. Molly is a professional shell finder and Rachel loves to eat sand.
This year we had lunch with the princess. It was fun but very rushed. I chose this instead of having to wait in line for hours to see the princesses. Although the wait is a lot longer, it seems like you get more quality time with each individual princess. Good thing we did though because Ariel's grotto is under construction for the next couple of years. Molly would be devastated if she didn't get to see her favorite princess. Rachel loved all the princesses. It seems as it she knows that she is supposed to adore them already!
The highlight of the trip was spending time with Aunt Ann and Emily. We look forward to seeing them every year. Aunt Ann went way overboard with the gifts and treats for the girls. Thanks for everything!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family! We love you!
